Vintage/Antique Black Pot Metal Incense Burner Pot. Piece has age and heat wear throughout. The only noticeable defect that I've found would be one of the wings of the creature on the lid has the tip missing. The lid is removable for placement of incense. The little creature has an open mouth that the smoke does come up out of, and the openings along the rim of the lid are upside down hearts. Tested, and does work as it should. Unable to age or place this piece. It is aged pretty well and looks to have been avidly used. There are no marks that I can decipher to tell who/where it was made besides the Chinese style designs. Piece is decently heavy and non-magnetic. Measures about 9 1/4" tall, about 5" handle to handle wide, and the opening about 2 1/2" in diameter. Weights 2lbs 5.1oz.
