    1960's
    U.S. Divers Conshelf VI Cousteau-Gagnan
    Scuba Regulator
The first stage piston is marked with serial no. 700903
These scuba regulators were introduced in
    1965 and were the
    first
regulator of the Conshelf line. The Conshelf Series of regulators is one of the longest running systems in diving. Many examples of Conshelfs have been in use for over 40 years. Remarkably, a Conshelf VI from 1965 is almost identical to a Conshelf XIV from 2010 on the inside. You can literally use the same parts kit for a modern regulator to rebuild the first stage of a conshelf made in 1965.
US. Divers is a legendary pioneer of underwater equipment. They produced the early regulators and were tied in with Jacques Cousteau and Emile Gagnan.

    :
    The regulator
is remarkable for it's age but it is
    s
    howing age & wear
that are to be expected in a vintage piece.
There are some scratches on the surface and light wear to the chrome coating.
    No dings or
    cracks.
I did not attempt to clean the regulator since I do not know how to do it properly
    .
The hose is completely in tact but
showing some age but no tear.
The mouthpiece rubber is in good condition.
The regulator has not been tested in water so working condition is un-known and it is sold as not working, for display, repair or parts. As with all used scuba equipment, this item should be professionally tested and inspected before use. The item will need a good cleaning.
    The item is sold as-is!
A "must have" for your collection of vintage Scuba regulators.
