VERY RARE ELECTRO HARMONIX TALKING PEDAL SPEECH SYNTHESIZER FILTER WAH EFFECT
In good condition. Works 100% no issues, no noisy pot. Sounds great.
Case is all original EH used this same heavy duty aluminum casing for other pedal in their line at the time including the Queen Wah, Bad Stone, Octave Muliplexer,, Crying Tone and Volume pedals.
Bottom plate is missing. One could be fashion from sheet metal easily enough… Or if you can find a vintage electro harmonix volume pedal, the bottom plate is a perfect fit.
The internal wiring, jacks, battery terminal and AC terminal are all original.
The foot switch has been changed as well as the pot which is the closest to the original dual gang sealed pot that notoriously goes dirty and is near impossible to fix
permanently(I know, I’ve had them drilled/cleaned/rebuilt and they always end up going south).
It does the same vocal format sweep with more vocal pronouncement towards the bass(heal) end of the treadle sweep, unlike the original.
I have two other of theses pedals…cool and unique and ground breaking especially at the time.
Sounds great with or without the sustain(fuzz) circuit, and unlike traditional wahs, sound best run AFTER drives and fuzzes…when done do the resulting sound is VERY dramatic and talk box like(minus the mouth tube).
