. Combining a noise gate with high- and low-cut filters gives you multiple options to tackle any unwanted sounds. The noise gate automatically cuts the signal when the level drops below the threshold set with the large top knob. If you need additional noise reduction for particularly recalcitrant frequencies, activate the high- and low-cut filters. They operate outside the guitar's midrange-heavy wheelhouse and reduce noise without affecting your overall tone. Because the footswitch is true bypass, the Gate pedal will not color your tone when you take it out of the circuit.
