The
RapcoHorizon Stereoline Passive Direct Box
is a multi-mode direct box that functions as 2 separate direct boxes in stereo mode. In mono mode, 2 high-impedance, unbalanced input signals can be combined into 1 low-impedance, isolated balanced output mono signal to conserve channels in a snake. Also in mono mode, 2 high-impedance unbalanced signals can be combined into 1 low-impedance balanced signal, isolated and split into 2 separate mono output signals. It comes with 2 shunts on the input to eliminate feedback.
Stereo mode functions as 2 separate direct boxes
Mono mode can combine 2 high-impedance, unbalanced input signals into 1 low-impedance balanced signal
