extremely
durable and will hold up to the harsh outdoor environment that they are subjected to! With proper installation, expect them to last at least 5yrs!
To find the size you need. simply measure the BLUE area of your factory grill and tailgate/rear hatch/trunk emblems. It is important to confirm the size you need, especially if you purchased your vehicle used, as sometimes the previous owner has swapped out the emblems, grills or entire tailgates for one from a different year. See below info for help in sizing:
Steering wheels (most ALL years/models, but measure to confirm) = .875in x 2.25in
-1999-2004 Super Duty GRILL emblems = 2.375in x 6.3in
-2005-2010 Super Duty GRILL emblems = 3.2in x 8.2in
-2011-2016 Super Duty GRILL emblems = 4.56in x 12in
-1999-2004 Super Duty TAILGATE emblems = 2in x 5in
-2005-2016 Super Duty TAILGATE emblems = 3.2in x 8.2in

Don't be fooled when a seller states they are using "high quality outdoor durable vinyl", etc..yes, it may considered "outdoor vinyl", but in reality it may be "intermediate vinyl" (CHEAP vinyl). This type of vinyl will NOT conform around your factory emblem! It will also shrink and crack long before "cast" outdoor vinyl will! BUYER BEWARE!
...and if they are trying to sell you an overlay that you have to install yourself in "2 pieces"?? Don't even bother! Ain't nobody got time fo' DAT!
We only use the most flexible doming resin applied to the most conformable vinyl available! They aren't cheap to make...but they WILL install over your factory emblem without wrinkling (you MUST clean your emblem thoroughly and HEAT the overlay, though!) and they will STAY in place!!
How hard are these to install? Not hard at ALL! Why? Because this very high-tech, specialty vinyl allows you to position the overlay and then lift it back up if you need to- again and again and again until you apply pressure and make it "permanent"! Install them DRY with no worries!! When you want to remove it- simply heat it up (hair dryer works fine if you do not have a heat gun) and peel it off. AND it's removable up to 4yrs without leaving any residue or adhesive behind!
