Antique 19th C Chinese Japanese 3-Footed Bronze Censer w Bird Finial Lid Art

Description

Up for auction is this antique 19th C bronze metal 3-footed tripod censer with bird finial and foliage lid and grapes and vine relief on sides. Solid bronze and a nice scholar art antique. I think it is either Chinese late Qing or Japanese Meiji period. Leaning Chinese the more I look at it but I am not an expert.
Bird finial tail has a minor loss as shown in the last photo, otherwise this bronze piece looks to be in excellent condition!
Measures 4.4” inches long and 4.3” inches tall (11.2 cm, 10.9 cm).
Would make a fantastic display piece, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
