The 320design / Landmighty is a versatile overdrive that can handle a wide range of sounds, from the rounded TS-type sound to a bluesy, dead tone, and even hard rock with its wide distortion range.
You can seamlessly adjust the Clip type (Min is in Diode mode, Max is in Thru mode). The Diode mode lowers the volume but distorts the sound finely, while the Thru mode does not clip, so it is closer to the original sound and gives it more luster and thickness. Thru mode is not clipped, so it is closer to the original sound, with more gloss and thickness. Compared to the other modes, Thru mode does not distort as much and does not have as long a sustain, so it is more suitable for Blues players who value the original sound, or for use as a booster. You can adjust the blend of each mode to find the best position for you. The trick to finding the best position is to turn the knob to the extreme. Another notable feature of this pedal is the Character knob. By turning this knob, you can adjust the mid-low range, which is the heart of the guitar sound, and enjoy a variety of tonal changes, from a round, so-called TS-type sound to a dead, bluesy tone. The exterior design of each unit is painstakingly finished by maki-e craftsmen, a traditional Japanese craft, and changes its expression depending on the angle of view.
Carefully selected parts and solders are used, and the enclosure is made of 320design's original die-cast aluminum case.
True bypass and high-intensity LEDs are common to all models.
Controls are located on the sides of the unit as much as possible to reduce the risk of accidental operation when stepping on the unit.
