    Description

    The White Lion of Mortimer is the eighth release in the Queens Beast series.  The White Lion of Mortimer is linked to King Edward IV.  The Lion is clutching a shield with a white rose surrounded by a golden sun, the same as the great seal of King Edward IV.  The White Lion should not be confused with The Lion of England.  The White Lion does not wear a crown like the Lion of England.  These coins were purchased in mint rolls and immediately placed in direct fit capsules.  They are clear of any spotting or tarnish and always handled with gloves.
