Description

Another favorite lightbar board of yours is back! Here I bring you the second generation of my low profile lightbar board Lightning for 1/24 scale Motormax cop cars and ALPR lightbars they come with. This new board has complete parts upgrade - a new microcontroller, an on-board programming link for future pattern/function updates, a new more efficient voltage regulator and improved LED displacement to fit the painted lightbars precisely. Like on Lightning 1.1, light is spread evenly across entire area of the glass cover for maximum realism, visibility and best possible performance. This time the board is much thinner than ever before, with thickness of only 0.6mm with the parts excluded, this allows you to achieve even better overall result once the board is installed inside the case. Also, the on-board holes for the glass mounting posts were adjusted as well, to make the glass cover go through the board smoothly and with ease and thus safe you from having to center the glass cover over the board as if you had to cut the posts for the boards with no holes, to be able to install the glass back onto the stand once the board is in. Board's evolved from 3 different predecessor variants and just like those, is also well optimized for high reliability, efficiency, optimal brightness and realistic performance. Beginners will also appreciate reverse polarity protection feature in case they may connect the power wires in the incorrect order.
